Pair Eyewear is famous for their products that are highly changeable, meaning you can change up your eyewear without buying multiple pairs of glasses.

“Let’s take a look at what Pair Eyewear has to offer and what customers think about their products.”

Pair Eyewear sells frames for kids and adults. The brand is new to the scene. It was launched by two graduates of the university.

The founders appeared on an episode of ABC\’s “Shark Tank” in 2020. They got a deal with some of the show\’s investors.

Pair Eyewear pros

  • “Pair Eyewear allows you to change the frames on your glasses with a wide selection of top frames. This is unique to Pair eyewear, and you can’t find it anywhere else.”
  • This is great for kids who want to change up their style or sport their favorite superhero or team logo on their glasses occasionally, but not every day.
  • The case for each pair of glasses holds the base frames and up to two top frames.
  • The baseline price for a pair of prescription glasses is $60.

Pair Eyewear cons

  • There are not many base frame styles for kids and adults.
  • Blue-light-blocking and progressive lens upgrade are expensive compared to the competition.
  • Reviewers complain about slow shipping speed and poor communication from the customer service team. This might not be a good option if you are in a hurry.
  • “10% off your first purchase is the best deal you can get, Pair Eyewear doesn’t seem to offer a lot of coupons, manufacturer rebates, or discounts.”

Pair Eyewear wants to make the experience of wearing glasses more fashionable and fun by offering a twist in the way you buy glasses.

You can choose a base frame that is in one of a few shapes. There are only about 10 available for adults and five for kids.

You can choose a top frame or magnetic front piece that is attached to the base frame. These top frames can be used to correspond to your favorite superhero, holiday, hockey team, or other choice. New styles are being added.

By ordering several top frames along with your base frame of choice, you can change up your look whenever you want without spending a lot of money on multiple pairs of prescription glasses. You can buy sun tops and frames with non-prescription sunglass.

In addition to providing traditional prescription eyeglasses, Pair Eyewear can also fulfill orders for progressive lenses, lenses for people with astigmatism, nonprescription readers, sunglasses, and blue-light-blocking glasses.

Pair Eyewear has base frames for kids and adults that start at $60. The basic prescription lens is equipped with a scratch-resistant and anti-glare coating.

“You probably won’t want to order their glasses without also getting a top frame or two. The top frames start at $25 each and can be had for as much as $30 for a special collaboration.”

If you want anything other than the basic, single-vision correction lens that comes standard with the base frames, you will have to pay more. Adding a blue-light filter to your glasses will cost you $48. The cost of changing the basic lens for sunglass will be an additional $99, and the cost of progressive prescription lens will be $199.

The bottom line is that the basic, no- frills base frames are reasonably priced compared with the competition, but you will end up paying close to $100 for a pair of glasses with one top-frame option.

Do they accept insurance?

“You can still use your vision benefits to buy glasses if you use Pair Eyewear. Once you have the receipt from your order, you can apply for reimbursement from your insurance provider. Follow your insurance provider’s procedures for getting reimbursed.”

You can also choose to pay with a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) debit card when checking out.

“If you don’t like your glasses or they don’t fit, Pair Eyewear will give you a return. You have 30 days to decide what you want to keep and try on glasses and top-frame options.”

“Shipping is free with returns. Pair Eyewear’s customer service team can return the glasses.”

If you want the warranty to last past the 30-day trial window, Pair Eyewear will charge you more.

“Pair won’t pay to have the glasses repaired if the trial window ends, and you won’t be able to get a refund if the glasses break after the trial window ends.”

You can pay a fee to enroll in the warranty program. PairCARE covers your glasses for a year.

Currently, the only way to buy Pair Eyewear glasses is through their website or at one of five retail locations: two in New York City, one in California, and two in Midwest Hy-Vee stores. The online shopping process is pretty straightforward and very similar to other online eyewear retailers.

Make lens selections

You need to choose any add-ons or extras for your glasses. Ultra-thin and blue-light-blocking lens upgrades are included.

Have your prescription ready

“If you want Pair Eyewear to get a copy of your prescription, you need to submit a photo of your prescription or give your doctor’s contact information.”

“If it is not convenient to update your prescription at the moment, you can place your order and have them remind you. Pair Eyewear won’t start working on your glasses until they get your prescription information.”

Add any discounts, then pay
